Q: i'm having problems binding the server with a file AND changing the icon
Q: What is "Melt Server after installion" feature?

Q: What is EditServer?
A: EditServer is the Sub7 Server Configuration Utility. Configure the S7
server before sending to your victims. Make sure you setup a password
and port (other than the default) for the server.

Q: My EditServer.exe does not open from the 'shortcut' in Sub7 Client?
A: Inorder to run from the Client shortcut, the EditServer.exe has to be
in the same folder as the Sub7 Client.

Q: What is the 'random port* feature?
A: If you check this box, the server will start on a random port. This
is useful if you want to protect the server from being detected by ip or
port scanners.

NOTE: You're gonna have to completely rely on the ip-notification.
otherwise you're not gonna know the port of the server. irc-notification
is recommended.

Q: What is the Sub7 IRC bot? and how can I use it?
A: Read bothelp.txt in the /help folder

Q: What is the 'bot prefix'?
A: The prefix is just the letter[s] used to send commands to the bot e.g
@login pass or !@help

Q: What is the 'fake error msg' feature?
A: A configurable fake error message is gonna be displayed when the
server is executed. This can be very helpful e.g you could say to yor
victim that you are sending a screen saver and then setup an error
message like "Invalid Resolution Detected" or send the server as an
antivirus and set an error msg like " I LOVE U cleaner -- Your system
has been successfully cleaned" or send the server as a porn movie and
set it to "Your system has too much of porn already delete some" [nah ;)
forget this one]

Q: How can I setup email notify?
A: The the most difficult part about this feature is the email server.
If you know for sure of an anonymous email server that allows relays,
then enter it. if you don't, then just pick any server from the list and
leave the User id field blank. then click the 'test' buton to try to
send an email through the specified server. if you receive an email
message, then the server is ok, and you can safely use it.

Q: Where can i find SMTP relay servers for the 'email notify'?
A: Try the list at http://www.cyberarmy.com or sumthin.
http://anon.efga.org/Remailers/rlist.html

Q: What should I put in *user* field of 'email notify'?
A: Leave this field BLANK.

Q: Does Sub7 allow notification to Multiple ICQ's [for one server]?
A: The one BIG advantage about 2.2 is that you can add as many ICQ
notifies as you want. the same goes for StaticIp and e-mail
notifications. This WAS not possible with older versions

Q: How do I setup the IRC Notify?
A: If you enable this feature, you'll have to specify an IRC server and
port. enter the server you usually hang out on. you can retrieve the
server name and port from your mIRC client [if you use mIRC]. on connect
options, in mIRC, above the 'Connect to IRC server!' button, click on
'Edit'. that will give you the IRC server and Port. now for the
nickname/channel. if you enter a nickname [eg. Foo], then the server
connects to the irc server, and sends Foo a message with the current ip,
port, password and victim name. if you enter a channel [eg. #mychannel],
then the server connects to the irc server, joins #mychannel and sends
the same message to the entire channel.

Q: Can I bind a .jpg with the 'bind server with EXE file' feature?
A: No u cant.Ok, this is pretty easy. specify manually a file name that
you would like to bind with the server, or click browse to pick it once
you bind an exe file with the server, the EXE file is added to the
server. so you send SERVER.EXE to the victim, not the exe you binded.
that's kinda' confusing... anyway, when the victim runs the server, and
the server is binded with an exe, the EXE file will be executed, and the
server will install itself in memory. for example: you can bind the
server with a small little game, and when the victim runs it, that small
little game will start, and the server will install in the background.
--- if you wanna bind more than one file, just zip all the files you
wanna bind into a Self-Extracting zip archive, and patch it with the
server.

Q: What is the "Protect server port and password" option?
A: If you check this option, NO one will be able to change the server
port/password/notifcation after its executed. Don't use this if you have
to change the Notification options later on.

Q: I'm having problems with opening the sub7 *server* with EditServer?
A: If you encounter problems while reading the settings of a server, [if
EditServer hangs, or doesn't read anything] then this is most likely
caused by anti-virus monitors installed on your system. so make _sure_
you deactivate them before editing the server.

Q: What is S.I.N?
A: SIN [Static IP Notify] is used to monitor online servers. When a
server connects to the internet, if it includes a StaticIPNotification
command, it will send a notification to Sin.exe. the PORT used in the
StaticIPNotification command must be the same port used by Sin.exe. When
a server has a GREEN icon, it means it's online. if the icon is YELLOW,
it means it might be offline, or the notification might be delayed for
some reason. if it's RED, than most likely it's offline. If a server
icon is RED, it will be removed from the list after 2 minutes.

Q: What is "Protect the server so that it can't be edited" feature?
A: Well, this new feature allows you to protect the server options. for
example, if you send the server to a victim, and the victim has
EditServer, he or she won't be able to edit the server [and see the
settings] without your password. you should password protect the server,
otherwise the victim might find out your ICQ-UIN or email by editing it
with EditServer.

Q: i'm having problems binding the server with a file AND changing the icon
A: follow these steps:
1. open the original server
2. change the settings and the icon, and save it with a different name.
3. reopen the saved file
4. bind it with an EXE file and save it again.

Q: What is "Melt Server after installion" feature?
A: When this option is selected, the server file will be automatically
deleted after its executed once. Don't worry the server creates another
executable in /windows or windows/system so you WONT loose the victim!
