		  PROCEDURE FOR "WHOIS" REGISTRATION

This file contains information for individual users wishing to
register in the WHOIS database maintained by the DDN Network
Information Center (DDN NIC) on the host NIC.DDN.MIL (192.112.36.5).
The user registration template below has been created to standardize
the registration procedure and help insure that the DDN NIC will
receive complete information about each user. Below are the
 1) instructions for filling in the User Registration template; 2)
instructions for sending the template to the DDN NIC; 3) a sample
template, and 4) a blank template for you to fill in.

Any user with electronic mail access to the Internet may be included
in the NIC WHOIS database. If you are sending the template to
the DDN NIC in order to be added to a NIC mailing list, please
specify which list you'd like to join when you return the template.
