Subject: Renaming of Domain DCA to DISA
 1. Since the Defense Communications Agency (DCA) has recently changed its
name to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), it is necessary to

the extension must be changed to, with the exception

All host administrators and/or host coordinators will be responsible for
ensuring that they make any host modifications necessary to accommodate
this change and for promptly notifying all the users associated with their
     hosts about the change.
 3. DDN will retain the DCA.MIL name as a nickname or alias for a period of
one year to allow for an easy transition from the DCA.MIL domain to the
     DISA.MIL domain.
