  Fairy and UFO cases I've studied which show startling similarities. These
  are mostly from English and Irish books. Actual text has been paraphrased in

<<in a spot near Borley Rectory saw four "men" in black((black
hoods and tall black hats)) carrying what appeared to be a "black old
fashioned coffin-- ornately trimmed with silver.!">>

You might think that this is too much but in 1901-76 years before-
similar figures were seen around Edenberry, Ireland by friends of
Dermut McManus(author of The Middle Kingdom) in the Clonmillan
Shee (fairy) area. A group of dark figures (like the 1977 ones) were
standing in a circle about 10 feet in diameter. They had no capes or top
hats --like the lst group --but were all in black, standing around a coffin
like box but, in this case, on top of the box or coffin were a pair of old
Irish bagpipes (drones.) All sightings in Middle Kingdom attested to by
these friends & acquaintances of his- one on his deathbed.! Most of
them grew l up to be professional people, doctors lawyers business
people.etc.

One wonders --if they were silver??. Anyway, the coincidence here 76
years apart in two different countries is pretty amazing. I think, and too
close to MIBs we read about Ufos to be set aside. . If you check out
the Stephen Jenkins haunting in Poltergeist you ll find an illustration of
this group he saw in 77.

 In the 1977 case the MIBS had skull like faces !!and the 'shawls were
draped around the top hats of the men." In the Irish case t the shawls
or cloaks? They hung down to the ground>non illustrated in "Middle
Kingdom" which I got in Dublin-- years ago.

In "Strange" magazine, Nov. 88 there is an article by Ken Meaux "High
Strangeness Weirdness Encounter".
 I read of a 10 year old girl in this article who observed three strange
figures gliding down the street --of an unnamed town in a sort of Charlie
Chaplain like unison. I just read of a case( re Men in Black) seen by
someone in NY(in Dec.Fate 94) who also observed MIB types in black
moving in unison after asking him the "time." This is a typical MIB
query!!.

The child ran for her father who alone heard a LOUD SNAPPING
NOISE which was quite distracting. He then went to call his brother
who lived down the street and when he came out on his porch he
observed-- nothing.

This reminds me of a possible 'fairy"(non ufo) sighting (human sized)
I had in Ireland near Limerick May 84 on an ordinary highway . I saw a
tall female figure all in red wearing a tutu(, such as a female ballet
dancer would wear). It was 100s of yards from our moving car.

My husband at the wheel of our small rented car saw nothing.!! I've
always considered this a type of clairvoyance --on my part. Not along
time ago someone 'on line" told me I probably saw a" feardorg"(I hope
that is spelled right)a fairy figure who is dressed in red and dances!
This figure upraised its arms, twirled, danced a bit..and then promptly
dematerialized on this highway! They are supposed to be" horsefaced-
"- but I was too far away to see this.. This was on a clear day..out of a
clear blue sky so to speak!

It was near a hedgerow --which are associated..with fairies re the left
side of the highway... In my studies I've read of quite a few "ufos"
passing over hedgerows in Ireland and England!!. Now far the
father(who heard that loud snapping sound) went to call his brother ---
who lived down the street and as you can probably guess-when the
brother cam e out- he saw nothing!! !

 In the old days in Ireland-- people heard what they called-"butter
churning noises " coming from under the ground and always related it to
the "Gentry"(fairies) probably very akin to the "sewing machine" sound
associated with ufos it was like machinery --they said!!

 In "Astral Projection "by Oliver Fox, OF has a list of sounds associated
with "projection" and he mentions crackling, roaring, whirring as of
gigantic machines, snapping sounds! wind like sounds etc. and so one
wonders..if the father was out of HIS body when he 'heard" the
snapping I just mentioned.

My husband only saw a 'man crossing the highway. /.
I myself, saw nothing-- but a car with a young couple in it on the other
side of the highway and when they got close to us they didn't seem
unduly alarmed !!..

The 77 case experienced by Stephen J. and his wife near Borley
Rectory(in England) also occurred near a hedgerow. Stephen and his
wife had been in the act -of turning left towards the hedge.

I've read of 'trolls"in Sweden -tall thin men --dressed in black. Trolls and
other types were known to ask people ridiculous, nonsensical questions
with rather diabolical results if the humans couldn't give
the "right" answer. I wonder if the time questions which John Keel has
investigated are related to this?? Now-- what the absolute identity of
these MIBs is -no one really knows I'm only presenting another view
point...!!

A lot of speculation but none really knows if they are connected with the
ufos themselves but
- I would opt for this !!rather --than "Air Force or
CIA Agents "though some-- might be. these.

I had a penfriend once year s ago -a young man fromLong Island-who
told me of an intense observation he had --when on a Long Island train
years before. A man all in black just kept staring at him..re this man
had appeared out of nowhere !! And when the young man-- turned to
look at him again- he was gone. He didn't seem to be anywhere else --
on this train.

Dermut McManus who wrote the amazing "The Middle Kingdom "I got
in Dublin (as I already said) years ago..had an aunt whose maidservant
in the thirties - got stuck!! on the" Lis Ard "mound (trying to get to her
parents village not far away for a few hrs.) not far from his grandfather's
mansion (called Big HOUSE) in Ireland probably--- i n the late 1800s
or 1900 something, I'm not sure re we attempted to find this even with
some very kind Irish villagers. It is pictured in this book, a"mound "here
fairies" had been seen dancing, from which music came.!@ The young
maid servant was terrified..caught in a sort of 'glamour" and couldn't
leave a small area though she heard the voices of villagers & farm
workers trying to find her with torches etc. It took hrs.and hrs.and hrs.for
the spell to break. This is very akin to the "glamour" when one has
sighted a ufo, seeing suddenly a strange landscape around ones car,
finding oneself in a strange area, far removed from where one was or
seeing something that should be far away close up or as below ...

In this famous case --which took place in Me, years ago, "Twilight Side
of
a Ufo Encounter" by a former penfriend of mine a ufo investigator Brent
Raynes. The two young men.. 'saw" a" lake" right near
their car-- over which ufo s hovered !!but in reality --this lake was a
half..or more miles away. You can find this case in "Ufo Dynamics."by
Dr Berthold Schwartz.I or II, I cant find the book now to check it.

Dermut Mcmanus --by the way --felt that the bagpipes in the Irish case
were to commemorate the passing of a great piper.! He call ed them
the Fairy Host! (tall thin men in black) but now -a days the word fairy
alas elicits only giggles and maybe compassion for our sanity at best
!!but you have to admit that there are a lot of queer coincidences.

The height of devas/fairies, 'aliens" 3 4 5 feet, thin limbed big eyed, all
types of mental, physical disabilities perhaps,
 Aside from the abduction, the silvery .whistle, echoed, singsong
voices are all indicative of fairy phenomena,, the abductions of young
women /children mostly in the old days in Ireland (Visions and Beliefs of
the West of Ireland by Lady Gregory) now take have more 'men"taken
but still... the comparisons boggle the imagination !!though the ufo
solution is far beyond fairy kingdom!! But this is not the place to go
into this re the marks on the body, the attempt to take souvenirs from
them etc. but this was all" pushed under the rug "a long time ago.

Irish priests used to refer to them as the"boys" and there was -(with
some priests) a jealousy of the "cures "that the "gentry" could effect, &
constant warnings not to bother with them; tocome to the Church
instead for healings etc.

In the" First Proceedings of the International Ufo Congress" there was,
(re oneofmy books here) ..a case in May67 which told of a stranger
caller toa Mrs. Ralph Butler of Owatonna Minn. He identified himself as
an Air Force officer. He was wearing'too new clothes(" which weve read
about over )and over, was 5 9 and had a kindof olive complexion .and a
pitted face. One rea ds of the" rough" skin of fairies...and of
complexions not exactly white...greenish greyishetc.etc Olive is sortof
close.....

In another case page 285 of said book-there was a 300 lb pasty faced
MIB who called ona suburban New Jersey family after they had seen
ufo like Mrs Butlers --above. He spoke in a "singsongey" voice which h
is another fairy characteristic -!! described in " Fairies at Work and
Play" a little bookby Geoffery Hodsen I got in England years ago. It
was like a recording.... Hodsen observed and listened...... to 'undines"
by the side of Dab Ghyll(Wales?) which sounded to him like singing in
high pitched yet full toned voices. It reached him( re G.Hodsen a clai r
voyant form New Zealand)who had many angelic and fairy sightings in
Ireland and England describe d in this book --also in" Kingdom of the
Gods"(also purchased in England years ago)..as a s eriesof broad
vowels --sounds generally or an ascending scale...ending incredibly
high!! This is a good example of sing soney voices.

IN a very queer lucid like dream, I had years ago .I thought Iheard a
terrible chanting coming as if from across the street of a house I used to
live in, in New Bedford Mass my home town, a house by theway that
was the twin --of our house. In the'dream" I ducked under the couch in
my mothers den, dream wise . .

One associates chanting with fairies, March 93 I heard a chanting on
phone lane. I had answered my laundry room phone downstairs . It
sounded ike "" Simpson- Ioculdnt catch the lst word. Two words
repeated over and ove r ina dead mechanical voice. Im wondering now
if it was associated wi th t he Simpson tragedy --knowing the fairies
proclivity to prognostication. Then, a weekor so later associated it with
a youth who killed a Boston Policeman, Dalton Simpson. Who knows!
T he voice was very me chanical as you read about re.fairies and
'aliens." We are calling 'aliens" creatures off th einner planes s are
closer t ous than beings on distant planets.. We have our real roots in
the Gentry in Ireland, the Ancestors of Africa..and faireis of all cultures
thoughwe maybe dealing with fairies and humanoids from other
systems...., .
 Ive read that they calel dt them Good:as they were afraid of
their powers....they knew how they abducted their children, young
adults (likenow) usually..and how they could cause all typesof sickness
as well as -good fortune -if approache din the right way!! Now -so
removed form tthese odl fashioned times...itis time to look back to our
roots. Im n ot sure--if theyare are from our sytem or dimensions
unknown...... Tanlsey says on page 59 of Omens of Awareness...'to
enter the illusory world s of the astral level canbe a devastating
experience for the uninitiated. And it is we -who apparently are the -
uninitiated re all the 'wild" contactee stories of Hopkins.. Jacob's, Mack
etc.

One finds this re. 'aliens" and fairies, silvery/ echoney or
mechanical...etd.etc. re the Chanting I thought then fro time it
forecasted my mothers death perhaps a few years later-- as in the
famous "Rita Malley" case which took place in JNew York staet...state
in the60s- Ibelieve .

Rita Malley returning to her home, I forgot where in New York...in
Syracuse I believe ? but IM not sure, FAte magazine covered this years
ago . Her son Dana (five )was in a trance int he back seat whe nthis
gigantic UFO(Blimp like ) appeared over a ditch, off the road and she
haeard this terrifying chanting coming from it, predicting the" death of a
friend ": and this absolutely came to pass ina few days to her horror.
And--. and I remember reding that she would never travel on that road
again.

Getting back to MIBS perse, in" MOthman Prophecy "by John
Keel..onapge 91 Don Estrelle a public relations officer he knew well,
told of being followed by a strange silent figure ina black coat and
trousers. His face was dark and foreign looking.
News paperwoman Mary Hyre in Mothman--..was once approached by
a woman she calls "Mrs. Bryant".who told of abnormal sized looking
but dark or heavily tanned man who came out of a 'flying machine"while
she was coming back from work one night in W. Virginia duringt he
MOthman period covered quite brilliantly by Keel -in the 60s. She was
terrified...by something like a "camera flash gun!! "a s well, as the
"flying machine".

I feel myself that part of the ufo syndrome-- has to do with
Kundalini(Shakti tothe Hindus, the feminine aspect of God) going swiftly
up the spine and the camera flash light possibly has to do with the"
third eye, "( re pineal pituitary glands!!) and as the energy reaches this
area but Im only speculating.....Keel wrote about this but I cant find my
source now; its briefly mentioned in "Eighth Tower "a very old book of
his.

All sorts of" boxes" have been seen on or near Ufos.. smaller versions of
the coffin" -in the Irish case (if thisis what it was or something that
symbolized the coffin)(who knows what it symbolized... to the fairies !! n
that Irish field then

Years ago, I read...in an old Fate magazine Nov. 71 of a woman
Daphne Payner who was stay ing with her inlaws..in Missouri
temporarily (with her husband) and observing a small "box floating in
the corner of her in laws farm andt then, a week later, opening the
back door and observing a "white woolly thing..".which is very much like
what Katherine eBrigs callsa 'baguest"or" bogey beast "in her famous
"The Encyclopedia of Fairies-Hobgoblins, Brownies, Bogies and other
Supernatural Creatures ." These entities can appear in any form, any
shape...which also relates to Ufo phenomena.of course.
In "The Middle Kingdom", two women in the 1950s..saw something
like a kitchen clock...ona gate ina ruralareaof Ireland where they had
just seena small man.

A fairy they cried- lets get out of here!"
I feel the Ufo question (solution?) is far from solved. People
concentrating on hard-line aspects to me, are just going around in
circles, not being familiar with Jacque Valles book" Passpor t To
Magonia, (its just been reissued I read lately) and, Dimensions( the
sequel ) and certain unique material - I have here -- from Ireland. Also
from certain esoteric in Beverly Hill sCa. from which I acquired.. a
manuscript -(-years ago) called" Ufos An Initiated Account."
The solutions far beyond fairies, Michae l Topper who wrote the above
feels the ufo itself, is the combine d[auras) of the entities
involved)humanoids or angels with devas or fairies . Angels ARE the
apex of the fairy Heirarchy... and if they are not angels but humanoids
--which is more of Toppers opinion, we naturally can see the" fairy"
aspect there. Im not sure though if theyre from our system or not...!
Angels /fairies have always worked played together as spoken in said
book..seeing a huge flower shape conceived by angels!! for the
amuse ment of fairy friends.

Years ago I noted in Fairies (also in Kingdom ) Hodsens observation of
a dancing.. fairies( two or there feet tall buildingu p what he called an
'inverted fruit bowl"as they danced. Mind you, this was in 1915 or so in
Cottingley England..... makes one think??

In another incident in Farieis At Work and Play"also Kingdom of the
Gods, Hodsen observed..'lake spirits" at Wythrun England, forming a
"ballo on like incase ment" of enormous proportions to quote him. A
NO> ht golden lights in the middle at various levels were these
nature/lake spirits. Again we see something"auric "which sounds like
Toppers definition of a ufo in which humanoids or angels and their
devic associates are involved.

MIBS are ot a n ordinary type of fairy but considering the thin tall
figures seen by Jenkins and a friends of Mcmanus(Middle Kingdom)
they can not be disregarded. As the tall blond..entities bring joy hope
and light!!-THEY followus, question us nonsensically!! and sometimes..
send us on foolish errands. This is to be found in certain ufo literature
but also the smaller types do this also....(send us on errands) you find
alot of this. in. n the make believe fairy tales of course-- also.

Re the imitation factor is very significant..re G Hodsen observed a"
brownie"in the 20s Ithink (Fairies At Work AndPlay)e of his "b oots and
nightcap.!!.carrying buckets of water...as he did...but htisis rather
mundane compared to perhaps celebrating the funeral of an Irish piper
which was Dermut Mcmanuses explanatnionfor the Irish scene I just
meniotnned. Perhaps it precognized/ it??

Fairies have been seen in Ireland having fairs, racing their horses,
playing at hurling ec.as if theyve observed the Irish in such activities.
The mortals who have refused to join them (mortals are good luck for
them Ive read)have suffered all typesof disabilities --even death.
Luckily in the modern sightings and abductions, its far less drastic than
death though tragically death has occurred. in some Ufos Cases. In a
S American country, forgot which one, a few years ago. (Brazil? aman
Jose??? wen t out to investigate a "fireball which his children had
toldhim about and was totally consumed by it!

We have to go beyond theMIBS (al a physical"'aliens") toa land that
lies in the twilight of time.. Ive studied ..mostly about the Irish fairies but
we find them in very culture, the same creatures with different names
according to the language. . I feel that we are dealing with astral
entities.. Its interesting that David Tansley, who wrote Omens of
Awareness, which I purchased in England, a few years ago.& t the
devas we are dealing with --belong to what is called the" fourth cosmic
etheric plane."
 It is the plane of Intuition (the Bhuddic plane ) theosophically
speaking..it and the astral(what we are in every night re sleep) are
mirror images of each other.The Astral gives rise he says to all the
bizarre events we witness..and the devas who manipulate matter ina
magical way according to our inner mind patterns!!(is this why certain
ufo cases seem to ave features --at are very reminiscent ofour lvies
/our interests? re Scott Rogo has pted this out in his books ) and it is the
other one the Iintuitional or Bhuddic plane that shows the time element.
For our subject- the FUTURE.. re space technology!!
 Its very interesting (on page 85_.he h as a 'painting by Millais
"of a character" Ferdinand " being lu red by Ariel(fairy) re she sits upon
a hovering g 'craft" formed by elemental entities... Curiously he says -
eminiscent of some ufo humanoids in that thei r faces are triangular
(re Whitley Steibers little greys) etc. and here again we see a
referencea craft formed by fairies( re. Toppers ideas )re the "combined
auras."ufo. It certainly shakes up ones mind from the conventional
Ufo. Can it be? But I doubt well know......at least for 15 to 50 years or
more... Our society is still so physical....re the media is still making
funof the paranomral on tv or being ovelry skeptical though there are
many exceptions to this now.

Years ago some peasant women in Brittany saw the"farfadets, " (Ithink
this is what theycalled them )whizzing by in what they called a'whining
chariot!" Lets look beyond physical to again--l something that has
been sweeped under the rug for far too long. In" Treatise on Cosmic
Fire" by Alice Bailed I go t in England years ago ..she said that the
time was coming when this would occur re.the deva evolution...re more
interaction with Us! Is this our Time-now? I just feel that it will take a
very long long time for this to occur-probably not in our life time, but I
could be wrong? I certainly don't even pretend to have all the answers.
