TO DEAL WITH MODERN SCIENCE IS TO DEAL WITH A RELIGION, no more - no^M
less. And what is more, it is the dominant religion in today's world. ^M
It projects a view of the Cosmos which is so unreal that it is actually^M
bizarre.  Indeed, it is such a monstrous perversion of the Truth that it^M
makes it virtuous for its morally insane adherents to destroy our planet^M
- in the interests of what it calls 'progress'.  To speak of modern^M
Science as it really is, is to speak of a most virulent psychic plague^M
whose life-killing ideas and ways have led directly to the horrifically^M
sick conventional world of our times.^M
^M
Like every religion, modern Science casts itself in the role of being^M
the most 'advanced' human development so far on Planet Earth.  So it^M
uses terms like 'pre-scientific' when referring to anything appertaining^M
to the world that existed prior to the birth of Science some three and a^M
half centuries or so ago. This is the exact equivalent of the term^M
'pagan' used by priesthoods of a more traditional kind.  While, if the^M
word 'non-scientific' is used these days, it can generally be understood^M
that the Science functionary using it is passing stern judgement upon^M
some 'heretical' conception which is not compatible with the dogmas of^M
'Scientific-Materialism' - the theology of Modern Science.^M

It was no accident that Science emerged in Europe.  It is one of the^M
main products of the European Patriarchal Tradition.  This was the^M
imperialistic expansionist Death-Culture that took over where the Roman^M
Empire left off.  It originally developed around the core of the^M
Christian religion.  Christianity itself had been the vehicle through^M
which the patriarchal world-view of the Bible had been introduced into^M
Europe when the old Roman belief-system was in decline. The historical^M
significance of the Bible was that it presented the most highly^M
developed picture of an ordered Universe ever painted by a people in the^M
early patriarchal world.  Basically, it depicted a Universe created by^M
an all-powerful patriarchal male deity existing apart from it - who gave^M
patriarchal man the right to use it as he wished.^M

Such a view of the Universe was an essentially anti-life one.  God and^M
Matter appeared to be both separate and opposites.  So long as one gave^M
allegiance to the Creator, one was free to use the material Earth at^M
will.  And once such a fundamental approach to the Universe became^M
deeply embedded in European society, it was inevitable that it would^M
give rise to a fiercely rapacious and bloodthirsty Culture.  The mass-^M
individual produced by this culture was also inevitably a most^M
emotionally and psychologically warped person.  While there was always a^M
cleavage between thinking and feeling among patriarchal peoples, nowhere^M
did this psychic split become so manifest as in post-mediaeval Europe. ^M
And the early Science philosopher, Rene Descartes of "I THINK, therefore,^M
I AM!" fame, gave full expression to this pathological development. He^M
manifested this cultural sickness of the Body, Mind, and Soul both in^M
his own mutilated emotional and psychological condition and in his life-^M
negative attitude to the real natural world.  For with him and his like^M
developed that utterly deadly process in European Culture through which^M
even the patriarchal spirituality associated with the Universe was cast^M
aside.  The Intellect - which did the thinking - became deified.  More^M
and more the Biblical God was forced to retreat ever further into the^M
background.  And in his place the increasingly dominant Intellect put^M
various 'forces' which it deemed were responsible for all change and^M
development.  With this development traditional patriarchal man began to^M
fade away in favour of neo-patriarchal Technocratic Man.^M
^M
What needs to be fully understood is that in creating Modern Science and^M
the kind of Technology and socio-economic institutions that were its^M
consequences, Europe produced a cultural vehicle through which its own^M
very peculiar ways of thinking and acting could be exported to most^M
other peoples--whose traditional patriarchal ways and ideas were^M
decaying.  The arrogant, self-centred Europeans found themselves with^M
two powerful ideologies at their disposal.  One was Christianity for the^M
masses of 'pagans' world-wide.  The other was Science - an elitist^M
intellectual religion - which, by its very nature, would take longer to^M
garner a following of similar size and extent.  The European mass-^M
individual has an in-built psychological make-up which gives rise to a^M
'one true Church' attitude.  And right up to these times, this deeply^M
authoritarian attitude remains deeply embedded in both Christianity and^M
Science.^M

In historical terms, Christianity is on the wane - as the mass^M
individual who forms the core of this religion is giving way to the^M
schizoid human with an over-developed Intellect.  And so, today, it is^M
Science & not Christianity which has become the primary means through^M
which European Culture holds most of the world in its ice-cold grip.  It^M
does this by converting all other peoples into 'Mental Europeans' -^M
irrespective of their colour or race.  Its Ruling Elite of Scientific^M
High-Priests now present Humankind with a Model of Reality - with no^M
other choice possible.  To one who can step outside of this Model, it is^M
clear that the degree of Mind-Control now being exercises by today's^M
Science Priesthood is far more totalitarian than was the case when^M
traditional religion held sway. This Power-Structure must be broken down^M
at all costs.  But, with Science, we are dealing with a Religion.  So we^M
can never deal with it on its own terms.  It can only be destroyed^M
through undermining its foundations.  Now, since the whole structure of^M
this new Religion rests on Illusions created by the Intellect, our^M
approach must, accordingly, take the form of destroying these fanciful^M
intellectual assumptions about the Cosmos.  On many fronts, Science is^M
coming up against the True Reality of the Natural Order - of which the^M
Life-Force is such an inseparable part.  So it is in developing and^M
utilizing the tremendous capacities for good which are to be found^M
through exploring the unlimited potential of the LIFE-FORCE - in company^M
with Mother Nature - that we will be able to destroy the one-eyed^M
Cyclops which is Technocratic Man while starting to rejuvenate the Earth^M
- so harmed by his vile kind.^M
