  Along with my other interests, I'm trying to contact an entity
that's stuck up in an old tower in a park right now. A friend of
mine held a seance up there some years ago trying to talk to
"Indian Devils" using an Ouija board (this tower is built on old
Indian burial grounds, BTW), and during the middle of the seance
a girl in the group needed to move around the room they were in
and walked through the edge of the 6+ foot diameter pentagram
drawn in chalk on the floor of the room. Afterwards, they tried
to redraw to broken parts of the pentagram, but couldn't get back
into contact with the entity they were communicating with.
Following that seance, people feel uneasy and unnerved while in
that room. It's not a place people like to stay for very long..
And this place was only this way following the seance.
  I only found out about this event from my friends a week ago,
and through my own personal ideas (detailed below), I felt that
this entity may have gotten "stuck" in that tower and can't get
away back to its "home" without help. I'd be pretty angry,
fearful, depressed, and confused too if I got stuck in unfamiliar
territory like that entity.
  My purpose is to attempt to contact it, understand what went
wrong, figure how to correct the situation, and try to prove
(at least to myself) that yes this type of thing is "real" to
myself (I have never seen or done anything truly paranormal, but
I want to!).
  
  I feel that there are multiple levels of existence above and
beyond our reality, known to us as the astral plane(s) and
accesibee through the typical terms of ESP, physic energy, etc.
Frequency is the big factor here, with each higher level existing
on a higher frequency range. Growth and advancement of yourself
will qualify you to rise up the vibrational scale and have more
freedoms, responsibilities, and opportunities.
  Each area has its own specific frequency associated with it,
and entities must be able to align their frequency properly to
"go" to a different plane of existence. The ability to change the
frequency is probably not something entities can consciously
control easily. You just want to go somewhere and you go. Unless
it's a place an entity is not familiar with, which will require
some sort of "path" to travel across.
  
  When my friends did their seance, they did not know exactly
what it was they were doing. Instead, the structure and protocol
was embedded in the rituals they performed, such as drawing the
pentagram. The pentagram itself probably serves no purpose other
than to serve as the focus point of their energies and to give
that energy some structure (perhaps the energy followed the
lines and points of the pentagram, concentrating at the points
of that pentagram).
  By performing the rituals, I theorize that they opened a path
of structured high-frequency energy going from their time-space
location into the higher planes, carrying with it a message
requesting contact with certain kinds of entities. Those
entities responded by using that channel to send premilinary
responses back to the group, which was subconsciously detected
by them and they subconsciously moved the puck around on their
Ouija Board.
  To improve communication with the group, the entity (or
entities) used the energy channel as a trail through territory
unfamiliar to go to the group's time-space location. This is
likely because they said that although communication was slow
at first, it sped up as time passed until the puck flew around
the board so fast signalling letters that it flung off the board
at one point.
  The method of ending the seance would normally occur by the
group signalling it would like to end their communications, and
then the entity would use their energy channel to return to its
point of origin. Then the energy channel would dissolve and the
seance would end.
  
  However, that could not occur due to the one girl accidently
passing over the edge of the pentagram trying to get to another
part of the room. Their attempts to restore communications by
redrawing the pentagram probably failed to work because as I
said before, the pentagram is merely a symbol or focus point of
the energies. As she walked over part of it, she probably passed
through the energy channel which was aligned and tuned to a
certain energy and frequency level. By doing so, her own
bioenergy field intermingled with that structure and knocked it
out of alignment, scrambling the channel and derailing their
train of thought. This may have resulted in the entity also
getting thrown out of alignment and into a state of temporary
confusion and chaos, which kept it from being able to realign
with the group immediately afterwards. Consequently, the group
gave up trying after a short while, packed up, and went home.
  The entity probably wasn't so lucky. Because it followed the
group's energy channel to their time/space location in what was
most likely in unfamiliar territory, it also needed that energy 
channel to go "home". But because the channel was scrambled
during the seance and shortly thereafter closed down, it got
stuck, and was now unable to leave that area. I believe it may
have remained stuck there ever since then, and the uncertain
feelings felt in that room is "leaked" from the entity.. it is
the sum total of that sentient, intelligent being's anger and
frustration of being stuck in unfamiliar territory and unable
find a way out of the situation.
  
Well, that's the background. And the fun part is that we
actually tried contacting it yesterday, and I think we were
successful to a certain extent.
  
  I decided that I don't really know if using Ouija Boards or
pendulums is a Good Thing, so I tried to find a more detached
form of communication. My decision was to use the fun little
device known commonly as the "Eye of the Storm".. the high
voltage globe thing that produces multicolored streams of
enerrgy originating from a small sphere on a post at the center
of the globe.. to attempt communication with this entity (if
it was there, of course). The energies in this thing are rather
interesting, because the streams of energy aren't really on a
physical level or on a nonphysical level.. it's sorta
in-between both states. And second, the high voltages are
created by a high-frequency oscillator circuit, which would be
present to some extent in the output to the globe even if the
output is DC (I think the inner center globe is negatively
charged, but it may use HF AC power.. anyone know for
certain?). This to me seems to be the optimal method for
contacting the entity for these reasons. Perhaps the
nonphysical and high-frequency energies could act as a "beacon"
for it to lock onto during our communications.
  The best thing about this device is that it could also act
as our communication path between us and the entity. It might
be able to manipulate the streams of energy in the globe to
indicate "Yes" or "No" responses to us, thereby eliminating any
need for one of us to be involved in the communication process
and giving us a _positive_means_of_indentifying_nonphysical_
_activities_ wihout any human involvement, which apparantly is
a very rare thing to be able to do according to current
knowledge.

  Unfortunately, it didn't quite work that way. Due to variety
of troubles ahead of time, I ended up going to RadioSlack and
buying a 12vDC-to-120vAC inverter and an "Illuma Storm Jr". We
dragged a car battery and all this stuff up the 100ft incline
to the tower (the park and its access road is closed until May
1st), and I set it up in the center of the tower while my
friends looked around.
  When I got it all set up, we turned it on in the center of
that tiny room (maybe 12ft by 14ft in size with a stairwell on
one side) and we stood around it in a square. I said out loud
something along the lines of "We are here to attempt
communication with an entity that may have been accidently
trapped here during a seance my friend Brian here was involved
in. We come in peace and hope to be able to understand more
about what happened. We want both to find a way to assist this
entity and learn more about this kind of thing. Please try not
to damage this device when you contact us," etc...
  Now as I said this, a rather interesting thing happened. The
streamers of energy in the globe began to die down and fade
out. This is rather interesting because this particular globe
has no intensity adjustments -- it's either on or it's off.
I did preliminary tests, and we don't affect the energies in
the globe when we all stand at least three feet away, which we
were.. None of the wires were touching each other, and the
inverter's power light was steadily on, so we knew that the
power was being supplied properly
  It faded out as if the energy streamers got shorter and
shorter as a whole, not fully reaching out to the edges of the
globe. I believe that _something_ was sucking the power off
that device, causing the power to dwindle off like that.
It went down to a pale white glow only fainly visible on the
surface, which then went out. It didn't come on again after
that point, and we didn't discover until later that the
globe was burned out. It had a faint burnt smell to it as well.
  My theory is that the entity came to us after I began talking
and looking at the globe. I set up a localized energy beacon
centered on the globe and the entity arrived shortly thereafter
(it might roam around the surrounding areas at night). The
entity may not have known what it was doing when it burnt out
the globe.. it may have been sucking off the energy produced by
the globe to strengthen itself without knowing it might damage
the device (I didn't know it could either).
  
  After the globe quit on us, we used a backup method..
pendulums. I don't really like using them yet because I'm
uncertain of their function. My best guess is that the entity
tells me what it thinks on a higher subconscious level, and I
unconciously relfect that response in my micromotor movements
of the pendulum. Shortly thereafter, my friend who was in on
the seance before took off a necklace of his and used it as a
pendulum as well. So I asked the questions out loud, and we
would both use our pendulums together to check each other's
results.
  What follows is some of our questions and the responses,
but I also know that with pendulums, sometimes my
subconscious can hide answers from me or give responses that
it thinks will please me (but in this case, I was focused
very heavily on finding out the Truth, which may have
prevented this from occuring). My personal pendulum movements
are Counterclockwise = Yes, Clockwise = No, Left&Right =
Can't Answer, Forward&Back = Don't Know, Motionless = Ready
For Question.
  
  
BTW, I don't think I've made it clear about the people
involved, so let me clarify that before the questions. Two of
my friends have a friend they play AD&D with named Brian. I
got to know Brian through being around these other two friends.
Brian was in on the seance some years earlier with three of
his own friends:

--Are you centered more around Brian [he could faintly smell
  ozone around him although we could not. Perhaps since he was
 personally involved in the seance, the entity is "attracted
  to him...]?  Yes
--Do you need a energy path of some kind to be set up for you
  to go back to where you came from?  Yes
--Are you in/around the glass globe of the device?  Yes
--Are you trapped within the globe?  No
--Can you make the globe light up again?  No

  That's probably 75% or less of the questions we asked, but
because this thing was organized pretty much at the drop of a
hat (two days ago), I couldn't really prepare enough ahead of
time to remember to bring along a note pad and a pencil
when we ask the questions (oops!).
  Because it was a very cold and windy night, we only lasted
an hour or two up in that tower before we couldn't really
stand it anymore. We packed up and left, but as we did, we
said we WILL be back and we WILL try to find some way to help
this entity.

  I am thinking that perhaps the problem with the "Eye of the
Storm" globe was that the entity drew off so much energy, the
poor little power supply inside just couldn't supply all the
necessary energy to keep that globe energized and it burnt out
as a result. So now I have a dead "Eye of the Storm" which I've
taken apart and appears to simply have a small TV flyback
transformer inside. Should we attempt to build a more robust
power supply that could put out up to 20+ amps of power (if
necessary) to drive that globe? Would this be a worthwhile
thing to do? Perhaps this way we could both supply the entity
energy and still have enough left over to supply the globe
with enough power to function properly. Perhaps this energy
supply is all the entity needs to leave here by itself without
our help. Hmm, I'll ask it with the pendulum if we go there
again before I build this device. 
  A transformer system may not be appropriate for a high
current and high voltage circuit.. could be very expensive.
Would an oscillator driving an SCR and attached to a
capacitor/diode high-voltage stepladder be a less expensive
approach? How much power could a 500a 12v car battery
supply continuously before it would be damaged from overdraw?
Could the entity manipulate this power to produce physical
phenomena? (Another question for the entity..)
  Or should we go beyond the flyback transformer and build a
Tesla Coil system? Can a Tesla coil be modified to give only
DC output?

systems.. I'm interested in what those who have experience
in magick, radionics, parapsychology, and metaphysics, etc
can suggest we ought to do to remedy this situation. What
would be our best approach now? What are your ideas on these
activities? 
  And, alas, cash is tight, so the less expensive our
solution, the better. Using personal energies through magick
might work, but that type of thing usually takes years to
learn and I doubt the entity would want to wait that much
longer..

Dear Dale:
 
I really dont want to come down hard on you, because I 
realize that you and your friends didnt know what you were 
doing.  And still dont.  The problem I have with all of this 
post is that you all went into this with very little 
research and used several different methods to bring an 
entity <an unknown entity, I might add> into this universe 
<earth> as we know it.  First off you used a Ouija Board, 
which is a chaotic device at best.  Ouija boards are 
uncontrable open doorways if you don't know what you are 
doing, and even the best psychics and or majick workers will 
tell you that even then controlling an entity with a Ouija 
board is an exercise in futility.  At best a Ouija board 
when used, especially how you used it is a good way to have 
an entity say, "Hi! I'm now in your world where I can have 
some FUN!"  Unfortunatly, these entities tend to not be 
good, in fact very BAD!  
 
The other thing I have a problem with is that this tower is 
in an Indian burial grounds.  You did nothing to appease 
this area.  Everything you used was in the realms of non-
native american..sure to piss off some local spirits in 
general.  And Indian spirits tend to have fun with people 
who intrude and not give them homage.  
 
As far as the pentagram is concerned.  There is a point that 
needs to be cleared up.  It was unclear in your post if you 
and your friends were *inside* or *outside* of the 
pentragram.  If you were inside the Pentagram then you and 
your friends were a part of the energy structures that were 
being created and channled, and when the lady passed outside 
of the structure, that would have disrupted and destroyed 
the flow of the energy, because she would have been a part 
of it at first and leaving would have removed an essentail 
part of that circuit.  If you were outside of the 
pentragram, and usig it as a structure to channel the 
energy, and as a place of manifestation for the unknown 
entity you were trying to contact, then when she crossed the 
lines and disrupted the lines, she added something to the 
circuit that wasn't there from the beginning causing a 
"short" in the field as it were.  Either way entering or 
leaving is generally not good.  The Pentagram is a 
Protective structure.  It's use is primarily from the 
inside.  It's sole design is primarily for you to become 
part of the energy structures, and to power your own 
personal energy into a protective wall that will prevent 
anything bad from getting at you or your engergy.  (in 
theory at least.  You need a good grounding in understanding 
for this to be effective).  Trying to use it as a 
manifestation point is contrary (but not completly inverse) 
to the original intent.  It can be used as a manifestation 
point, but only by those who are very practiced in doing so.  
But is seems that you (collective) were using it as a focus 
channel for your personal energy and  then used the Ouija 
board as your manifestaion point, thereby negating any 
protective asepects of the pentragram and especially when 
she walked through it, destroying the lines (major bad), 
releasing the energys and entities in a chaotic mannor that 
can not be controlled.  
 
The next question I have is whether Brian was the one using 
the Ouija board, or if you all used it at the same point.  
And also was Brian the one channeling for the seance?  If 
Brian was the one using the Ouija or directing the seance 
then he is the one that the entity is communicating through.  
 
He is the one that the entity recognizes.  Although all your 
energies combined helped to power Brian if this is the case.  
The main problem is that the entity is now released into the 
tower.  I think the main reason it cant get out of the tower 
is because it is in an Indian burial grounds and maybe the 
Indian spirits in the area are keeping it enclosed.  You did 
mention that Brian is seeing a white wolf following him.  
This could be a psychic link with the entity that he is 
experiencing.  The fact that the entity has told you that it 
has never been human, to me, feels like a BAD thing.  Or and 
unnatural thing as it were.  Indian spirits would recognize 
this as something that should be enclosed.  I think you need 
to talk to a Shaman about this and a majick user i.e. Wicca 
or ceremonial magician, and get some expert help, before you 
try anything further.
 
The next thing, is that when you went in and tried to 
contact this entity, which we are still not sure what it is 
or whether bad or good, it ate up the power supply that you 
had.  Please don't feed this thing until you know what it 
is!!!!  Entities need power and energy to manifest things.  
You just fed it.  If you keep feeding it, it could manifest 
itself, yes.  But what it could manifest into could be a 
very BAD thing.  And if it get's free at this point, it's 
unimanginable what harm it could do.  I commend you on 
trying to send it back, but until you know what you are 
doing, dont try.  Your just making matters worse, and can do 
more harm.  
 
The other thing is if you want to record these sessions with 
the entity, paper and pen, granted, are hard to use.  Bring 
in a tape recorder, battery powered!!!!  Batteries are 
little use to a entity (too little energy).  Record your 
session with it.  
 
The way that your going to have to get rid of the entity, or 
send it back, is going to be hard.  The reason is that you 
are not sure how you brought it into existence.  You need to 
go over with everyone present exactly what you did and how 
you did it.  Exactly what steps you used, exactly when the 
girl walked out or in to the pentegram.  Retrace your steps, 
between all of you.  The fact that this happened 3 years 
ago, will make it that much harder.  A: Because your 
memories are going to be fuzzy, and B: this entity has had 3 
years to entract itself into the area, and if it doesn't 
want to go.....  Usually to get rid of something manefested 
you have to reverse what you did.  The fact that you used a 
Ouija is a chaotic point in general, that's why it's so 
dangerous, because you can never re-create what happens on a 
Ouija exactly as it manefested originally, you will have a 
hard time getting an entity back through the same doorway.  
Therefore you will have to create another.  And I suggest 
that when you do so, DO NOT USE THE OUIJA, a friend of the 
enity's may want to come and join him...:)  I suggest that 
you never, never use the Ouija again.

I understand that you are technically minded, that is all 
well and good, but technology is not the key here.  You went 
back to the old ways to bring this entity into existence on 
this plane, you must use the old ways to send it back.  
Technology will only feed it.  The fact that you say that 
anyone that enters this tower feels uncomfortable, and 
uneasy is a good clue that this entity has some bad points 
about it.  Pyschics that are used to dealing with spirits 
and ghosts will tell you, that yes, there is an alarming 
feeling when dealing with ghosts in general, but that it is 
 
the element of surprise when coming upon one that usually 
creates it.  Then they will feel either comfortable with an 
unharmful sprit or uncomfortably uneasy when they come 
across a chaotic spirit that wants to do more harm then 
good.  Granted I am talking about "HUMAN" ghosts, or ones 
that used to be human.  Dark entities as I call them love to 
trick the unsuspecting and the unwary, much less the 
unpracticed, into manifesting them so that they can create 
general havoc.  Luckily there is something guarding this 
tower.  The tower in general being built on Indian burial 
grounds is a foreign object built on sacred ground to the 
Indians.  This in itself could have made a barrier the 
spirit is trapped into.  THIS IS GOOD!  The spirit is asking 
that it be released, but to what?  If you inadvertantly 
release it, you could release it to outside of it's tower to 
the world in general, not back into the spirit world, and if 
you feed it power, then it could break free itself out of 
the tower if it get's enough energy.  So you don't want to 
be using he eye of the storm again, OR the Tesla coil.  
Telsa coil would give it a tremendous boost of power.  Again 
you don't know the entity well enough to be able to say 
whether it is bad or good.  Don't do anything until you 
know.  Yes, we keep repeating that, but it is a point that 
needs to be stressed!  You don't want this entity following 
you around creating havoc out of your life, do you?
 
As far as the reply that followed this about using a 
technology that uses waves to get rid of spirits.  The 
Lakhovsky Multi-WAve Oscillator.  My feeling on it is that 
it didn't get rid of the spirits, it just made it impossible 
for them to come to that area.  Just like a nuclear blast 
would make an area impossible to live upon, this is 
basically what the Oscillator did.  It got rid of the charge 
in the area that drew spirits to it to manifest.  So 
basically the spirits moved.  Not all spirits have to stay 
in one spot, you know.  They can travel, there are spirits 
that stay at their homes because it is comfortable to them 
to be there, as well as it's why they are still there.  They 
wanted to keep living the life that they led, so they stick 
around in the place that was most comfortable to them.  
There are alot of places that are energy spots.  This 
Oscillator disrupted an energy spot for a time.  I dont 
think this will work with your entity (add have you wondered 
why you keep calling it an entity, rather than a ghost) 
subconsciously you know it's not a ghost.  
 
Sorry if this comes across as a major flame, but after 
reading it, (there are two of us reading and replying) we 
both had the same reaction.  ACK!! and a few explective 
thrown in :)  But seriously, it did have an effect on us.  
Mainly becuase of the seriosness of the situation.  If we 
didn't feel this strongly we wouldn't have responded in such 
length.  We don't want to see you hurt, the land hurt, 
innocents hurt, and if the entity is neutral, or good, it 
hurt.  What you have done, you have done out of initial 
ignorance, and curiosity.  That can be forgiven once.  Not 
multiple times, and now that you have had someone tell you 
the nature and gravity of what you are doing /have done, you 
can now either continue doing that which you have started 
(but no longer in ignorance) or you can take the steps 
necessary to learn what it is you need to do (books are not 
a good way.  You really need to have some one to teach you.  
Books only cover generalities and don't have sufficeint 
information to cover the unexpected.  A teacher might not 
either, but does have the experience and a good teacher will 
know where s/he is over her head and will be able to find 
 
out what is needed.), or your third choice is to get someone 
in there with the experience and knowlege necessary to help 
you resovlve this situcation.  It does need to be resolved.  
The longer it goes unresolved, the worse it will get, and 
then poor Brian, it would follow him forever.  The most 
important thing to be learned from all of this is TO LEARN.  
Don't mess with things you have little or no knowlege about.  
Learn and research first!!  Keep in mind, that everything 
you  do is a learning experience.  If you keep your eyes and 
mind open that is....:)
 
OH! and almost forgot!  If I read the time scales properly, 
you said that you had done the eye of the storm stuff on 
Wed, the 27th of April.  You said that that was Full Moon 
and a Major Pagan Holiday.  Uhm. hate to tell you this, but 
wrong on both counts.  :)  The full moon was at about 1pm on 
Mon the 25th for this time zone. The 27th would have been 
outside the 3 day cycle of the full, into the waning cycle. 
This is a negative destructive time.  A time to rid things 
that are bad in your life and etc.  It's not a time for 
constructive building energies.  If this entity is a 
negative entity, then it will be in greater power during the 
waning moon.  The major Pagan holiday wasn't until the 
following Sat. the 30th of April (Beltane), and while it 
wasn't the holiday itself, you were still within the 
influences of that particular energy cycle.  Beltane is a 
firtility/growth/constructive holiday, as well as a casting 
off and removal holiday.  But the growth and firtility 
aspects outweigh the negatives.  So, even though you were in 
the waning aspect of the moon, you were with in the growth 
aspect of the seasonal holiday, therefore in the works that 
you were attempting they would have cancelled eath other out 
and would have had minimal effect on your experiments.
