Our Path Through The Ethers

Our culture has evolved a science and philosophy which views
the world through a single color-blind eye.  To study the
nature of manifestation science dismantles living forms to
understand their components parts and somehow hopes to
eventualy find the final "building block" of Nature.
Orthodox medicine follows suit by treating symptoms of
disorder rather than cause.  Neither of these disciplines
allows for a grasp of "the whole," nor do they allow for
subjective methods of observation.  This trail of "progress"
has led to the manifestation of nuclear power plants,
chemotherapy and a myriad of other unnatural forms and
forces.

     We are here concerned with direct experience of our
manifestation whereby we may find the natural forces and
forms essential for a beneficial society.  We begin with a
view of the anciencts who were in much closer touch with
nature.  The ancient elements Earth, Water, Air and Fire were
directly experienceable to our forebearers.  Earth and Water
were considered manifest while Air and Fire were considered
unmanifest.  Earth was considered manifest because it was the
cosmic foundation for all solids.  Water because it was the
foundation all fluids.  Air was considered unmanifest because
the ancients didn't think of the air they breathed as a gas.
The clouds were considered an extension of the watery
element.  The air they breathed was the living force of the
creator and as such came from the unmanifest realm.  Fire was
also unmanifest because it was a liberation of a cosmic
principle from the Earth element.^Z
