SCREAMING IN DIGITAL
The On-Line Queensryche Digest
Volume 169 - 94Dec11
_________________________________________________________________
Editor's Note
Those of you who enjoy mathematics will doubtless note that one
hundred sixty-nine is the square of thirteen. Those who are
superstitious will note that thirteen is considered to be an unlucky
number. Not particularly falling into either of the above categories,
I will simply note that it seems somewhat fitting that the production
of the one hundred sixty-ninth volume of the digest should be marred
by a relatively major hardware failure and the resultant
unavailability of reams of data.
I like, though, to fancy myself determined, though others have
described me as simply difficult, and Michael perhaps put it best when
he labeled me crazed. Adjectives aside, I've extracted the names and
e-mail addresses of some five-hundred past or present recipients of
Screaming in Digital from the file where I saved responses to the
survey I conducted earlier this year, and have begun the process of
rebuilding.
This volume will, unfortunately, contain little more than my own
words, as all contributions were on Arginine when it experienced its
failure. I apologize for this, and hope that the normal flow of
conversation will resume in volume 170.
Dan "This crazed guy, Shag" Birchall

Tina, head of the Queensryche Campaign, informs me that the guys have
been down at the studio on a daily basis, practicing and getting their
gear ready for the world tour. She also mentioned that the European
dates have been changed and that at least one date in Asia has been
added. I hope to include an updated list of dates in volume 170 of
this digest.

I have established a directory structure here at IOS to take the place
of the archives I operated on Arginine. Currently, issues 1-162 of the
digest are available from this archive. The host is ios.com; the path
is /pub/users/shag/qryche. I will be making more files available
shortly.

To access the digest and other Queensryche-related material through
the WorldWideWeb, please use the URL http://www.ios.com/~shag/qryche/.
